About the role

We are looking for a reliable Remote Operator to provide high‑quality phone support to patients of a U.S. medical practice. Working from Honduras, you will follow New York business hours and help keep the office running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments.
• Provide general information about services.
• Place outgoing reminder calls for upcoming appointments.
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage and benefits for medical equipment.
• Record and update patient information accurately in internal systems.
• Follow communication scripts and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in customer service, medical office support, or a call center (preferred but not required).
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free work environment.
• Ability to multitask and handle patient interactions with empathy and professionalism.
