About the role

The Student Assistance Coordinator will lead and optimise the student service and cash‑handling processes for UNITEC and CEUTEC in the North Zone. The role ensures high‑quality support, accurate enrollment, billing and collection operations, and enhances overall student satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Student Assistance area, guaranteeing quality across all institutional service channels and meeting performance indicators.
• Manage case administration on the Jaguar platform and coordinate team schedules to provide timely, efficient service.
• Oversee payment‑arrangement processes, ensuring compliance with financial operations standards and accurate student billing.
• Generate and analyse data to monitor service performance and support decision‑making.
• Maintain efficient, on‑time service delivery through all communication channels, adhering to established service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing process‑optimisation projects, promoting service channels, strengthening platforms, and handling complaints and suggestions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Administration, Business Management or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar student‑service or cash‑operations role.
• Proven supervision and team‑leadership abilities.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and case‑management experience.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data for operational improvements.
• Effective communication, decision‑making and conflict‑resolution skills.
