DevOps Engineer – Azure & On-Premise (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters in Azure and on‑premise environments.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Ansible and Terraform.
• Manage cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and support physical data‑center operations (OpenStack, QEMU, Hyper‑V).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Zabbix, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Handle database administration (PostgreSQL, Redis, ClickHouse) and distributed storage (Ceph, NFS, S3).
• Ensure security hardening, integrate vulnerability scanners (Snyk, SonarQube) and SIEM tools (Wazuh) into pipelines.
• Develop disaster‑recovery plans and automated backup processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree (four‑year college).
• Proven track record with Kubernetes, Azure, and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Strong Linux administration (Ubuntu or Talos) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and taking ownership of complex systems.
