About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the daily operations of a Welchez Café location, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer service, and financial performance. This role requires hands‑on management of staff, inventory, and cash handling while maintaining brand compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the café according to established schedules and procedures.
• Supervise beverage and food preparation to meet brand recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and proper condition of equipment, furniture, and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food‑safety regulations.
• Resolve operational issues promptly, including equipment failures and customer complaints.
• Plan and control staff schedules, train and motivate the team, and evaluate performance.
• Apply HR policies related to attendance, discipline, and uniform standards.
• Deliver a consistent brand‑aligned customer experience and handle feedback.
• Manage cash register operations, daily reconciliations, and bank deposits.
• Control inventory levels, request replenishment, and minimize waste.
• Report sales results, costs, and key performance indicators to the regional supervisor.
• Enforce operational manuals and corporate policies across the outlet.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; university studies in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism or related fields are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience in restaurants, cafés or customer‑service retail.
• Proven ability to manage personnel, cash, and inventory.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
