About the role
Lead Methods is responsible for coordinating the launch of new programs and engineering changes, ensuring strict compliance with Lear's engineering systems and procedures. The role involves managing pre‑planning activities, pilot runs, and documentation to support successful program launches.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings and resources for the implementation of engineering changes and pre‑planning processes.
- Provide training to Methods Engineers and Operators and oversee programs in the pre‑planning phase.
- Manage pilot and prototype runs with cross‑functional teams, maintaining all required documentation such as Footprint and Layout records.
- Ensure 100% compliance with engineering department procedures and keep the Engineering Changes folder up‑to‑date.
- Utilize engineering tools during program launches and adhere to master board, harness, and exact length chart requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive wire harness processes.
- Legal authorization to work in Honduras.
