Operation Specialist – Tracking Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Operation Specialist to act as a Tracking Coordinator, ensuring that every freight movement is accurately monitored from pickup to delivery. In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and clients, providing real‑time updates and resolving any exceptions that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor active loads in real time and update status in the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Conduct check‑calls with carriers and drivers to confirm location, ETA, and any delays.
• Identify and flag exceptions such as late pickups, detention, or delivery issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Communicate tracking updates clearly to internal teams and clients.
• Maintain accurate records of pickup, transit, and delivery milestones.
• Support smooth handoffs between dispatch, carrier sales, and customer service.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Comfortable working CST hours and handling a high volume of shipments.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to multitask under time pressure.
• Prior experience in logistics, freight tracking, or related customer service is a plus.
• Familiarity with TMS platforms and load boards is a plus, with training provided for the right candidate.
