Senior Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a Senior Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse and logistics activities at its La Lima facility. The role focuses on improving supply‑chain efficiency, ensuring on‑time delivery, and supporting the company’s mission to advance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and logistics operations, optimizing equipment use for handling, storing, and shipping stock.
• Perform detailed analysis of supply‑chain processes and recommend improvements.
• Manage material requisitions for cleanrooms, aiming to reduce NCR rates, delivery times, shipping errors, and scrap.
• Accountable for staff productivity and quality metrics; provide regular progress reports.
• Lead cross‑functional process‑improvement projects.
• Act as a JDE super‑user, delivering complex data analytics and resolving escalated transaction issues.
• Create or refine warehouse procedures to meet capacity requirements.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of equipment and temperature/humidity probes for the WMS.
• Ensure employee training, certification, and compliance with EH&S and OSHA regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations with full supervisory responsibility.
• Experience with Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Quality Systems Management.
• Knowledge of free‑trade‑zone regulations.
• Intermediate‑advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in La Lima, Cartago.

Required skills

• JDE (ERP) super‑user expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Data analytics and complex transaction troubleshooting.
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) operation.
• Preventive maintenance of warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of free‑trade‑zone regulations, ECR, and Quality Systems Management.
• Familiarity with government system TICA (preferred).
