Tech Lead (Sanity CMS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for a Tech Lead specialized in Sanity CMS to join our talent network and work remotely with US‑based clients. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to drive large‑scale content migrations and build robust, API‑first solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions and guide engineering teams through complex Sanity CMS migration projects.
• Design and implement content models, data mapping, transformation, and migration tooling.
• Develop and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, content, design) to ensure seamless integration.
• Identify technical risks, define migration strategies, and guarantee data integrity throughout the process.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in modern JavaScript ecosystems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or team‑lead roles.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.

Required skills

• TypeScript and Node.js.
• Sanity CMS (content schemas, GROQ, migration tooling, APIs).
• React and/or Next.js.
• RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Headless CMS architecture concepts.
• Document‑based databases and cloud deployment workflows.
