Técnico O&M Senior

About the role

DICOMA Energía is expanding its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team for solar power plants in Honduras. The Senior O&M Technician will lead field maintenance activities, ensure optimal performance of photovoltaic installations, and support the growth of new projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar PV equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and troubleshoot inverter, transformer, and wiring issues.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, performance testing, and data collection.
• Coordinate with project engineers to implement corrective actions.
• Document maintenance activities and generate technical reports.

Required profile

• Formal electrical or electromechanical training.
• Proven experience in maintenance and electrical diagnostics within solar power plants.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Electrical diagnostics for photovoltaic systems.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of solar inverters and balance of system.
• Use of testing equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and thermal cameras.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and PV system layouts.
