Video Teleconferencing Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Technician to join MANTECH’s team in Tegucigalpa. The role focuses on operating, maintaining and upgrading audiovisual and video‑conferencing systems for government and defense clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operation and maintenance of audiovisual technologies across multiple sites.
• Develop and execute troubleshooting, repair and upgrade plans for AV equipment.
• Interface with end‑users, technology vendors and stakeholders to ensure high‑quality user experiences.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior staff members.

Required profile

• High school diploma; 7+ years of experience (including at least 5 years in AV installation or service).
• DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level II certification within six months of hire.
• Active Secret security clearance.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and frequent computer use.

Required skills

• Audiovisual troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Broadcast, video, multimedia and video‑teleconferencing systems.
• Video and audio streaming technologies and standards.
• Experience with DoD or diplomatic AV environments is preferred.
