Asistente de Operaciones Terminal

About the role

As a Terminal Operations Assistant you will join the team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of activities at the Puerto Cortés terminal. You will handle the receipt, storage and dispatch of bulk and packaged chemicals, support inventory control, and uphold safety and quality standards in a dynamic, global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute receipt, storage and dispatch of bulk and packaged chemicals, following operational procedures.
• Manage documentation and ERP systems related to inventory control and terminal operations.
• Assist in vessel unloading and tanker dispatch while ensuring safety of personnel, products and facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness, order and safety conditions in work areas.
• Support inventory counts, label control and issuance of load and work orders.
• Participate actively in emergency response teams and safety, health and environmental initiatives.
• Comply with corporate policies, quality standards and established procedures to ensure operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in port terminals, logistics, warehouses or related administrative roles.
• Experience handling chemicals or industrial materials and managing receipt, dispatch and inventory processes.
• Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Ability to work under strict safety procedures and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and inventories.
• Team‑player with effective communication skills.
