Specialist, Land Operations

About the role

The Specialist, Land Operations will support Crowley’s land transportation network by managing equipment, documentation and terminal activities, ensuring smooth flow of shipments across borders and to customer facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Complete tracking reports and coordinate with transport and 3PL companies.
• Feed the TMW system, generate and send EIRs, ATC, Arivus, F5300 documents, and process vendor payments.
• Respond to email and phone inquiries regarding shipment status, border crossings, and unforeseen situations.
• Assign containers based on customer requests and maintain up‑to‑date inventory records.
• Generate inventory reports for top customers and ensure equipment availability at their facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, transportation or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in commercial trucking or the maritime industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Access and Excel.
• Experience using transportation management systems (e.g., TMW).
