About the role

The Kitchen Assistant supports daily kitchen operations at Rivia Corporativa in Tegucigalpa. This full‑time, on‑site position involves basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and helping the team deliver meals on time.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, and measuring according to recipes.
• Assist cooks in assembling dishes and ensuring consistency with standards.
• Clean and sanitize utensils, work surfaces, and kitchen equipment.
• Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene and safety protocols.
• Organize supplies, restock ingredients, and keep the storage area orderly.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely meal service.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and storage with a focus on hygiene and safety.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and standardized procedures accurately.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness and proper labeling.

• Prior experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food‑service setting is preferred but not required.
