Bilingual Bankruptcy Case Manager (Chapter 7 & 13)

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Bankruptcy Case Manager to support a U.S. bankruptcy law firm handling Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters. This remote, full‑time position involves direct client interaction, document management, and coordination with attorneys and paralegals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of bankruptcy clients from intake through case preparation.
• Collect, review, and organize financial documents such as bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, IDs, and creditor information.
• Follow up with clients to obtain missing documentation and keep them informed of case status.
• Track deadlines, maintain accurate case files in the firm’s system, and ensure all required documents are filed.
• Communicate clearly with clients in both English and Spanish.
• Assist attorneys and paralegals in preparing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 filings.

Required profile

• Prior experience working for a U.S. bankruptcy law firm.
• Background as a case manager, paralegal, legal assistant, or document collector.
• Familiarity with Chapter 7 and/or Chapter 13 processes and documentation.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced remote environment.
