Case Manager – Personal Injury

About the role

The Case Manager will oversee personal injury matters from initial intake through settlement, providing essential administrative and litigation support to attorneys and the legal team. This full‑time position operates both on‑site and remotely for candidates located in LATAM, requiring strong organizational abilities and effective communication with clients, medical providers, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage personal injury cases from intake to settlement, including insurance claims and coverage tracking.
• Coordinate client medical treatment, schedule appointments, and monitor progress.
• Maintain up‑to‑date case files in CasePeer and Box, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurers, and other parties to gather information and provide updates.
• Support attorneys with discovery, drafting responses, and preparing demand packages.
• Track litigation deadlines, organize medical records, billing, and lien documentation.
• Identify missing information, follow up with relevant parties, and resolve outstanding items.
• Document all case activities, communications, and follow‑ups while preserving confidentiality.

Required profile

• Previous experience with plaintiff personal injury cases or similar legal support roles.
• Strong understanding of personal injury case processes and litigation timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional demeanor with a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CasePeer case management software.
• Experience using Box for document storage and collaboration.
