Remote Pre-Litigation Records & Claims Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time, remote Pre‑Litigation Records & Claims Clerk to support our personal injury practice. Based in Honduras, you will keep cases moving by gathering, tracking, and managing essential documents for each claim. You will collaborate closely with intake, case management, and attorney teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and send Letters of Representation to insurance carriers, medical providers, and other parties, confirming receipt.
• Request and follow up on police accident reports from NY, NJ, and PA agencies, uploading them to case files.
• Prepare and submit PIP and no‑fault benefit applications, track claim numbers, and monitor deadlines.
• Obtain insurance policy limits and declarations pages, document responses, and escalate delays.
• Request medical records, itemized bills, and HIPAA authorizations, tracking each request to completion.
• Identify and request lien information from insurers and medical providers, keeping lien amounts current.
• Scan, name, index, and upload all documents to the case management system, ensuring accurate, up‑to‑date files.

Required profile

• Fluent English (written and spoken); Spanish fluency is a strong plus.
• Experience with records requests, document management, or claims processing in a law firm, insurance, or medical billing setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple open requests without error.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently during US Eastern Time business hours.
• Reliable high‑speed internet, a quiet workspace, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
