About the role
The Cashier Support role ensures smooth operation of the agency window, handling all cash‑related activities while minimizing operational risk. The position focuses on delivering excellent customer service and meeting defined performance targets.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close the service window in accordance with security policies and procedures.
- Perform daily cash and vault reconciliation in multiple currencies (HNL, USD, EUR).
- Coordinate cash shipments and receipts with two transport companies, applying dual‑control policies.
- Maintain physical cash balances against accounting records for each currency.
- Safeguard and allocate all pre‑numbered instruments such as savings booklets, cash checks, debit cards, enrollment tickets, term‑deposit certificates, and any other numbered forms.
- Collaborate with the administrative manager to conduct surprise cash audits as required by policy.
Required profile
- University student (intern) pursuing a degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a cashier.
