About the role
The Legal Coordinator will support the Legal Management team in Tegucigalpa by conducting legal research, issuing opinions, and reviewing contracts and related documents. The role ensures that the institution’s operations comply with current laws and mitigates legal risks.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process internal and external correspondence and documentation.
- Provide preventive legal advice to avoid risks for the institution.
- Manage and advise on institutional matters and corporate governance.
- Supervise, review, administer, distribute and assign work to Legal Analysts.
- Draft and review internal policies and processes concerning legal issues.
- Update and monitor applicable laws and regulations.
- Review contracts and related legal documents.
Required profile
- Law degree with a master’s in Commercial, Business, Administrative, Tax law or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar legal coordination role.
- Knowledge of Civil, Administrative, Commercial, Registral and Financial law.
- Basic proficiency in English.
