Country Team Lead – Honduras

About the role

Palladium is looking for a Country Team Lead to drive the implementation of the Digital Cities Innovation Accelerator Small Grants Program in Honduras. The role will coordinate technical delivery, stakeholder engagement, and institutional alignment to ensure the successful deployment of a secure, cloud‑based solution that improves visibility, efficiency, and collaboration across public‑sector institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management, coordination, and oversight of in‑country project activities, supervising technical and operational staff.
• Oversee implementation of workplans, ensuring alignment with timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary in‑country point of contact for government agencies such as customs, port authorities, and municipalities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders and private‑sector partners.
• Coordinate technical workstreams—including system integration, data analytics, and platform deployment—to ensure coherence.
• Identify implementation challenges, facilitate timely problem‑solving, and ensure quality of technical outputs.
• Monitor progress against project indicators and support reporting requirements.
• Support the development of governance frameworks, data‑sharing agreements, and coordination mechanisms.
• Promote sustainability by strengthening local capacity and institutional ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading multi‑stakeholder projects in a government or public‑sector context.
• Strong coordination and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage technical and operational teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with senior government officials and private partners.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and capacity to navigate complex implementation challenges.
• Commitment to building local capacity and ensuring long‑term sustainability of digital solutions.
