Dispatch Coordinator - After Hours

About the role

We are looking for dynamic individuals with a passion for helping people to join our fast‑paced Customer Service team. The Dispatch Coordinator works after‑hours (Sunday to Thursday, 11 pm‑6 am) supporting customers, drivers and internal staff.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via phone, email or fax and respond to queries professionally and promptly.
• Track and trace a large volume of customer orders.
• Enter, update and process customer orders on various interfaces.
• Ensure daily delivery schedules are met and return all required documentation to the head office accurately and on time.
• Handle client complaints, provide solutions within set time limits and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments for drivers and convey specific freight requirements.
• Research and resolve transactional problems to keep reporting reconciled.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships among team members and internal staff.

Required profile

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics (preferred).
• Recent college or university degree in Marketing or a Business‑related field (required).
• Previous experience in an analyst or pricing role (asset).
• Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology and devise creative solutions.
• Experience with B2B sales involving complex deals (asset).
• Strong knowledge of the sales planning process and excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and effectively in a team environment.
