Transportation Operations Specialist

About the role

The Transportation Operations Specialist will coordinate and optimise delivery schedules for Charger Logistics in San Pedro Sula. The role involves communicating with mobile units, monitoring situations via phone or radio, using mapping software to identify optimal routes, and tracking the location of each unit in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Build expert knowledge of company products and services.
• Engage with customers in a professional manner to maintain lasting relationships.
• Provide track‑and‑trace updates for shipments.
• Continuously inform customers of order status and resolve freight issues.
• Enter, update and process customer orders across multiple interfaces.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
• Coordinate with other departments to clear customs paperwork.
• Follow established procedures for billing.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• Previous logistics or customer‑service experience (preferred).
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Fluency in English.
