Dispatch Support Specialist

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a motivated Dispatch Support Specialist to join its team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. In this role you will coordinate and optimise delivery schedules, communicate with mobile units, and ensure that drivers receive timely information for safe and efficient deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching pending loads, scheduling drivers, and coordinating pickups and deliveries.
• Modify daily routes to meet customer needs and respond to sudden changes such as road construction.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers and provide routing directions.
• Monitor driver reports, enforce safety procedures, and maintain compliance with dispatch standards.
• Update customer web portals with current load information and pull load forecasts from the system.
• Analyse transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and optimise trailer pool placement.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably with logistics exposure.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent time‑management and multitasking capabilities.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use mapping software for route optimisation.
