Entry-Level Customer Service Representative – Remote

About the role

Valatam is seeking an entry‑level Customer Service Representative to provide bilingual (English/Spanish) support to clients and their customers. This full‑time, 100% remote position is open to candidates located in Latin America and offers the chance to develop customer‑service skills while working with international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and chat.
• Assist customers with routine inquiries such as account updates, general questions, and basic troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior team members when needed.
• Follow up on client requests, send reminders, and track pending communications.
• Perform accurate data entry and update customer profiles in internal databases and CRM tools.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information for query resolution.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the customer service team.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
• 1–2 years of experience in customer service or virtual assistance.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Quiet, professional home workspace with a laptop (2010 or newer) and reliable internet (≥50 Mbps).
