Excel Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Excel Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis. You will design realistic business scenarios and evaluate AI‑generated Office documents, helping to improve large language model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and simulate complex business cases using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Engage in multi‑turn conversations with an LLM, providing detailed prompts and reviewing AI‑generated outputs.
• Create, assess, and compare two AI‑generated Office files (.xlsx.docx.pptx) against professional standards.
• Document feedback, side‑by‑side preference data, and recommendations for model improvement.
• Provide domain‑specific insights across multiple industries and business functions.
• Communicate findings clearly in written and verbal formats for the AI training team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Fortune 500 environments using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Background in business roles such as private‑equity associate, investment‑banking analyst, junior consultant, FP&A analyst, HR, or marketing strategist.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate nuanced differences in document quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with large language models or writing long‑form AI prompts is a plus.
