About the role

World Vision is seeking a Development Manager to lead and energize a network of volunteers and community‑based organisations. The role focuses on improving the wellbeing and protection of the most vulnerable children through community‑driven projects.

Key responsibilities

Mobilise and activate volunteers and local change agents.
Strengthen community organisations, schools, water committees and health partners.
Promote development initiatives that address spiritual nutrition and sponsorship standards.
Maintain relationships with sponsors and ensure promises to children are kept.
Coordinate resource mobilisation and manage project implementation in rural areas.

Required profile

University or technical degree in Social Sciences, Pedagogy, Agronomy or related fields.
At least two years of experience in technical positions implementing community development projects in rural settings.
Proven ability to manage processes, mobilise resources and coordinate with local actors.
Valid motorcycle licence and ability to operate a motorcycle.
