Full‑time Missionary for Christian Bilingual School in Honduras

About the role

Join the international team of Good Shepherd Christian Academy (GSCA) in Zamorano, Honduras, to provide a Christian, bilingual education to vulnerable children in a rural community. This full‑time missionary position is 100% support‑raised and offers the chance to serve children and families while sharing the Gospel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bilingual elementary and secondary education to students of the Good Shepherd Children’s Home and the surrounding community.
• Collaborate with the missionary field director, the USA‑based office, and the GSCA support team to overcome challenges of living and working abroad.
• Participate in fundraising, budgeting, and financial reporting for the school’s non‑profit operations.
• Host mission teams and coordinate international mission‑trip travel.
• Provide pastoral care, child counseling, and trauma support as needed.

Required profile

• Demonstrated servanthood leadership and business management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in non‑profit or ministry fundraising and financial stewardship.
• Passion for serving children and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Currently thriving in a healthy, spiritual community.
