About the role

The insurance company seeks a dedicated Claims Manager to lead the claims function across all insurance lines, including life, health, motor, and property, in Tegucigalpa. The role ensures that claims are analyzed, documented, settled, and paid in accordance with policy coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the end‑to‑end claims process for all insurance branches, guaranteeing each case is attended, analyzed, documented, and resolved per policy terms.
• Coordinate and control the review, settlement, and payment phases of claims.
• Ensure the team validates documentation submitted by clients, brokers, providers, or internal areas before proceeding.
• Review complex, sensitive, recurrent, or high‑impact claims, confirming proper analysis and supporting documents.
• Collaborate with clients, brokers, providers, and internal departments to gather necessary information, invoices, reports, and expert opinions.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
• Preferable additional training in insurance, claims management, process administration, customer service, or operational control.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in claims handling, loss settlement, insurance operations, or related processes.
• Prior experience supervising teams or coordinating claims processes is desirable.
