Legal Specialist

About the role

Vanteo, LLC is seeking a Legal Specialist to support its growing legal function. The role provides critical assistance to in‑house counsel by managing contracts, maintaining compliance records, and conducting legal research.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and managing contracts, track deadlines, and ensure timely renewals.
• Maintain organized legal and compliance files, databases, and assist with filing legal documents.
• Pull risk and data reports from the contract management system and provide administrative support to the legal team.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, prepare compliance reports, and help implement compliance programs.
• Conduct legal research, analyze documents, and prepare summaries and memoranda for counsel review.
• Support the development, implementation, monitoring, and communication of company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business administration, or a related field; paralegal certificate, JM, or JD preferred.
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent research, analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
