Logistics Coordinator - Afternoon Shift

About the role

Charger Logistics is expanding its operations in San Pedro Sula, Honduras and seeks a motivated Logistics Coordinator for the afternoon shift. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing delivery schedules, communicating with mobile units, and ensuring timely, on‑budget deliveries. The role involves using mapping software, phone or radio communication, and maintaining up‑to‑date load information.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispatching loads, scheduling drivers, and coordinating pick‑up and delivery operations.
• Modify daily routes to meet customer needs and handle sudden changes such as road construction.
• Communicate freight requirements and procedures to drivers and provide routing directions.
• Monitor driver reports, enforce safety procedures, and ensure equipment safety.
• Update customer web portals with current load information and pull load forecasts.
• Analyze transportation planning opportunities to reduce costs and manage trailer pool placement.
• Participate in problem resolution with team members and other departments.
• Maintain high compliance with dispatch standards and operating procedures.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• College diploma or degree, plus 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using routing or mapping software.
