Onboarding Specialist – Remote Full‑Time Contractor

About the role

Gymdesk provides leading gym‑management software for fitness studios, martial‑arts schools and wellness businesses. As an Onboarding Specialist you will guide new customers through the first weeks, configuring the platform, coordinating data migration and training staff so their launch feels seamless.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for 40‑50 customers each month, moving them from signed contract to fully operational status.
• Coordinate data migration with the dedicated migration team to ensure clean, timely imports.
• Assess each client’s workflow and configure Gymdesk to match their specific operations.
• Deliver training sessions for customers and their staff on the most relevant features.
• Provide a memorable launch experience that is efficient, personal and helpful.
• Relay customer feedback to the Product team and flag potential churn risks.
• Collaborate with the VP of Customer Success to develop scalable onboarding playbooks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in onboarding, training, customer service or project management.
• Excellent written and spoken English; confident communicator on calls and in writing.
• Motivated by helping customers succeed and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and comfortable spotting friction early.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, evolving environment without a fixed playbook.
