Remote IT Specialist – Cloud & Network Support

About the role

The Language Doctors, Inc. seeks a proactive Remote IT Specialist to join its global, cloud‑based team. You will provide technical support, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations for a multilingual services company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver remote technical support to a worldwide team.
• Install, configure, and maintain systems, networks, and cloud‑based applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Administer network workstations using TCP/IP protocols.
• Manage system security, backups, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Monitor and optimize network and system performance.
• Document IT procedures and support requests.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in IT systems and network support (entry‑level candidates with strong skills are welcome).
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Availability to work rotating shifts covering EST time zones.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with remote IT tools and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and network workstation administration.
• Competence in system security, backups, and disaster‑recovery.
• Familiarity with automation or scripting tools.
• Experience in cybersecurity or data protection (preferred).
