SEO Specialist - Remote

About the role

The Otte Polo Group is seeking an SEO Specialist to join its Marketing team and drive SEO initiatives for local businesses. This fully remote, full‑time position offers the chance to own technical and on‑page optimization tasks while collaborating with a distributed workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Support technical SEO audits and implement follow‑up actions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot crawling, indexing, and on‑page SEO issues.
• Assist with internal linking, redirects, metadata, and site‑structure improvements.
• Conduct keyword research, content optimization, and content refresh projects.
• Track organic performance, identify opportunities, and provide SEO QA for website and content changes.
• Analyze SEO data to uncover trends, issues, and growth opportunities.
• Take ownership of assigned SEO tasks and see them through to completion.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Background in a marketing agency, preferably serving local businesses.
• Strong understanding of SEO terminology, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with local SEO and website optimization.
• Ability to contribute to SEO strategy and identify optimization opportunities.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time‑management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Google Search Console experience is required; familiarity with additional SEO tools is a plus.

• $2,000 monthly salary paid through Deel.
• Full‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM ET.
