Technical Account Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing staffing agency seeking a Technical Account Manager to own and expand a portfolio of U.S.‑based client relationships. You will act as a strategic hiring partner for founders and technical leaders, driving successful technical placements across engineering, AI, and specialized roles while working US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee hiring activity across accounts, lead scoping and intake calls, and translate technical requirements into actionable search criteria.
• Ensure hiring processes move quickly, monitor active searches, and manage client communication throughout the lifecycle.
• Own client health, retention, and growth by identifying upsell opportunities, managing risks, and supporting renewals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing market and talent insights, conducting strategic check‑ins, and positioning the agency as a long‑term hiring partner.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical staffing, recruiting, or agency environments placing engineering or technical talent.
• Proven ability to run scoping, intake, and sales conversations with technical hiring leaders.
• Strong relationship‑building, commercial instincts, and operational thinking.
• Comfortable working remotely across LATAM, Africa, or Eastern Europe while aligning with U.S. business hours.
