Big Data Analyst (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Big Data Analyst to work remotely on large‑scale data projects for global clients. You will transform massive, distributed datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large‑scale datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and critical business insights.
• Design and optimise complex analytical queries for efficient data retrieval.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to streamline information flow for reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to define key performance metrics and data structures.
• Document analysis methodologies and findings to support organisational strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, big data, or related data engineering roles.
• Proven expertise in processing large‑scale datasets using Apache Spark.
• Strong proficiency in writing and optimising complex SQL queries.
• Hands‑on experience building and maintaining data analytics pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
