Full Stack Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a skilled Full Stack Laravel & React Developer to join its rapidly expanding team. You will work remotely across Latin America, contributing to challenging projects and building high‑quality applications for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement frontend features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, taking ownership of deliverables and meeting client expectations.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and follow best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (v8 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication, and Query Builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Frontend development experience with React (or Vue.js, Laravel Livewire).
• Bonus: familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to take extreme ownership of work.
