Remote Operator – Patient Support (Honduras)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Remote Operator to provide high‑quality phone support to patients of a U.S. medical practice. The position is based in Honduras and works according to New York business hours, offering a fully remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming patient calls courteously and professionally.
• Assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments.
• Provide general information about services and send appointment reminders.
• Contact insurance companies to verify coverage for medical equipment.
• Accurately record and update patient information in internal systems.
• Follow scripted communication guidelines to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Strong verbal English communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer service, medical office support, or a call‑center environment (preferred but not mandatory).
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free workspace.
• Ability to multitask, show empathy, and work independently.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency (email, scheduling software, data entry).
