About the role
We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support for a U.S.-based law firm. The role is fully remote and involves managing case documentation, deadlines, and client communications throughout bankruptcy proceedings.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing, reviewing, and organizing bankruptcy-related documents and petitions.
- Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review financial information and supporting documentation for bankruptcy cases.
- Conduct legal research and track case progress, following up on outstanding items.
- Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other parties regarding case matters.
Required profile
- Hands‑on experience handling bankruptcy cases.
- Prior work with U.S.-based law firms.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. bankruptcy procedures.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and detail‑orientation skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English and ability to work independently.
Required skills
- Proficiency with case management systems.
- Microsoft Office suite.
- Document management tools.
- Common legal technology platforms.
