Litigation Paralegal

About the role

Teamswell, a high‑growth near‑shore outsourcing firm, is seeking a responsible Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling corporate and transactional matters for small‑business clients. The role is fully remote and requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate/LLC filings.
• Conduct legal research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis to support business advice.
• Manage client files, maintain corporate records, and ensure proper execution and filing of documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies to obtain necessary information.
• Prepare and file formation documents, annual reports, and other required filings with municipal, state, and federal agencies.
• Assist with alcoholic beverage license applications and act as liaison between the firm and various stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in corporate, transactional, or regulatory licensing practice.
• Paralegal certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree; certification (NALA, NFPA) a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Westlaw and Lexis legal research platforms.
• Strong knowledge of corporate/LLC formation, maintenance, and filing requirements.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with document management and e‑filing systems.
