About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Tegucigalpa. The role involves overseeing daily food preparation, ensuring high standards of presentation, and delivering memorable dining experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise all kitchen activities, guaranteeing correct preparation, plating, and service of dishes.
• Coordinate the kitchen staff, assign tasks, train new members, and manage shift schedules.
• Maintain strict compliance with quality, hygiene, and food‑safety standards.
• Design and regularly update the menu in collaboration with management.
• Control orders, monitor stock levels, and manage the cost of raw materials.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a Head Chef or similar role in restaurants, hotels, or catering services.
• Strong knowledge of both traditional and modern cuisine, plating techniques, and gastronomic quality control.
• Formal training in hygiene, food safety, and current sanitary regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Additional qualifications in gastronomy, restaurant management, or basic IT tools for inventory and ordering are a plus.
