Senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator

About the role

The IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Support Department is looking for a senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator to manage and optimize a diverse server environment across a global enterprise. The role involves hands‑on administration of Linux, virtualization, cloud platforms and backup solutions while supporting local IT and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer CentOS, Red Hat, Oracle Linux and AIX servers, handling installation, configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Manage OpenStack environments and deploy cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
• Operate VMware vSphere virtualization platforms and enterprise backup tools such as Commvault, Dell Networker or Veeam.
• Configure identity and access management services like Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Utilize collaboration tools (SharePoint Online, Jira, Confluence) and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Chef).
• Provide technical escalation support for local IT, DevOps and Infosec teams worldwide.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Hands‑on experience with Linux systems (CentOS/Red Hat) and related management tools (Katello, Satellite).
• Experience managing cloud infrastructures (AWS preferred) and configuration‑management/IaC tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot outages and performance issues in large, distributed environments.
