About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tier 3 IT Helpdesk or MSP Support Agent to join our Technical Operations team in San Pedro Sula. This position is the highest level of technical escalation, responsible for resolving complex, high‑impact issues and driving infrastructure improvements across client environments.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve complex incidents involving LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, wireless networks, firewalls, and other infrastructure services.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management while acting as the escalation point for Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams.
- Monitor and optimize network performance using SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix and similar platforms.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, VLANs and network security policies.
- Support Microsoft 365, Hybrid Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID and automation initiatives using PowerShell and RMM tools.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in NOC, MSP or advanced network operations.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24/7 support environment.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, QoS and VPN technologies.
- Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus, Fortinet equipment.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix.
- Experience using Wireshark, tcpdump and packet analysis for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Hybrid AD, Azure/Entra ID, PowerShell and RMM automation.
