Motorista – San Pedro Sula, Honduras

About the role

We are seeking a reliable driver to transport and deliver products, materials, and documentation throughout San Pedro Sula and surrounding areas. The role requires safe vehicle operation, strict adherence to planned routes and schedules, and courteous service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the assigned vehicle safely, complying with all Honduran traffic laws.
• Deliver and distribute goods to customers, branches, suppliers, or other designated locations.
• Verify that received merchandise, materials, or documents match dispatch records.
• Load, secure, and unload products while preventing damage or loss.
• Collect and verify delivery documentation such as invoices, dispatch orders, and receipts.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, shortages, returns, delays, or incidents encountered on the route.
• Plan and follow routes, schedules, and delivery priorities set by supervisors.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections before and after each shift, checking fluids, tires, lights, brakes, and overall safety.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, deliveries, and expenses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Honduran truck driving license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a driver, delivery personnel, or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with main routes and zones of San Pedro Sula and its surroundings.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to handle loading, unloading, and product manipulation.
• Immediate availability and flexibility to work variable hours and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Valid truck driving license (Honduran authority).
