Travel Logistics Project Coordinator – Honduras

About the role

Strategic Capacity Group is seeking two Honduras‑based professionals to join its Global Operations Team as Travel Logistics Project Coordinators/Project Assistants. The role supports a U.S. Department of State project that strengthens public security and justice in Honduras.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international travel, lodging, ground transportation, and venue arrangements for training, conferences, and other project activities.
• Source and procure vendors for catering, interpretation, translation, equipment, and other mission‑essential services, negotiating contracts as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, travel advances, and reconciliation of expenses, ensuring compliance with U.S. government requirements such as Leahy vetting and the Fly America Act.
• Respond to logistical contingencies and urgent operational needs, providing support outside normal business hours when required.
• Communicate promptly with participants, service providers, and internal teams across multiple time zones.

Required profile

• Located in Honduras, fluent in English and Spanish, and able to work with team members across multiple time zones.
• Proven experience coordinating travel, events, or logistical activities, including vendor management and problem resolution.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government‑funded programs, security assistance, or embassy processes is highly preferred.
