Junior Logistics Operations Representative

About the role

Charger Logistics Inc., an asset-based carrier with locations across North America and over 20 years of logistics experience, is expanding and is looking for a motivated Junior Logistics Operations Representative in San Pedro Sula. The position is full-time, on an afternoon shift (Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm, alternating weekends) or a weekend shift (Friday to Monday, 2pm to 12am).

Key responsibilities

• Build expert knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Engage customers in a friendly, professional way to build lasting relationships.
• Provide track and trace updates for shipments and keep customers informed of each order's status.
• Solve customer-specific freight issues.
• Enter, update and process customer orders on various interfaces.
• Confirm pickup and delivery appointments for drivers.
• Coordinate with other departments to clear customs paperwork.
• Follow established procedures for processing bills.
• Perform duties assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Required profile

• College diploma or university degree (recent graduate).
• Previous logistics or customer service experience is an asset.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Ability to solve problems, de-escalate conflicts and escalate tactfully.
• Strong time management, prioritization and multitasking.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
