Process Improvement Analyst

About the role

Charger Logistics, an asset-based carrier offering dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods and HAZMAT cargo, is expanding and is looking for a Process Improvement Analyst to join its San Pedro Sula office. The role works with business owners and technical teams to define projects, build business cases and drive improvements in shop and maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Research and create shop requirements through document analysis and constant interaction with stakeholders.
• Define scope and objectives of projects with business owners and technical teams.
• Develop business cases and project summaries, prepare needs analyses and problem definitions, and identify the current state, desired future state and gaps.
• Keep documentation clean and accurate, including business requirements and technical specifications, and report findings in reports.
• Develop technical solutions to business problems and suggest improvements and efficiency gains using analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Communicate with users on the status of production problems and share ways to resolve issues affecting the Shop and Maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Advanced English is a must.
• Ability to identify trends, anomalies and cost drivers, with high attention to detail.
• Experience managing claims, invoices or reconciliations.
• Preferred: experience in fleet, logistics, transportation or maintenance operations, and knowledge of claims management and liability investigation.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF statements, data validation).
• Experience with operational data and reporting.
• Preferred: experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
