Procurement Analyst - Wire Harness Raw Materials

About the role

Lear Corporation is looking for a Procurement Analyst to coordinate the expediting of raw materials for wire harness production, based on customer requirements. The role analyses system-generated production schedules, ensures material availability and provides detailed reports supporting accurate inventory and optimal stock levels within the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan raw material expediting activities according to production requirements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels through planning and inventory control.
• Monitor critical material shortages daily and track excess and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure 100% inventory accuracy and manage excess and obsolete inventory, keeping it at zero whenever possible.
• Monitor supplier purchase orders and ensure 100% supplier delivery compliance, and control over-shipments from suppliers.
• Coordinate engineering revision changes and ensure timely implementation.
• Comply with Lear's quality, environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and work standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in procurement or materials positions within the wire harness automotive industry (not required).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
